From powder to ceramic

With us it often gets hot! In our laboratory furnace, we sinter oxide ceramics up to a temperature of 1800 ° C under oxygen.

Since this process forms the typical microstructures that significantly influence the later component properties such as density and strength, we attach great importance to this work step.

The exact knowledge about the volume loss expected here is the basis for our success both in the previous green processing, as well as in the subsequent finishing.

With the continuous monitoring and optimization of the furnace atmosphere for the respective material, we are able to prepare the resulting component perfectly for our hard machining.
